As we are already turning towards the end of February I thought it was about the time to reveal the best album artwork from January 2014. Once again nice work from various rock and metal bands. It will be a pleasure to see what kind of trends and visual movements we will see throughout the year. Based on these I would suggest something simple and more straight-forward. Love the typography!

Once again less is more.

Fistful of killing. Pretty used as a concept but this works!

Really good picture, nuff said this one doesn’t need anything else.

This was a bit controversial but the film noir and b/w setup with really nice ass made this cover to the list.

Black and white, dragons, good typography and simplicity. This is beautiful.

Say hi to the Reaper. This cover says ‘occult’ and ‘death’ faster than you can purchase this album from Amazon!

Just a simple photo from which you can read many things.

I love the white space and harmony in this one.
