Hey Joe - In 1969 you drew a comedy-album cover for me. You, and the guy who colored the drawing, Kary Kopecky, traded me 2 1/2 % of the profits from the album's sales for your work. Unfortunately there were no profits. (Sales totaled 17 copies. All but 5 to family members) I had bet the farm on that album and was greatly effected by its failure. I was also bummed that you and Kary didn't make any money on the deal and had decided at that time that when I finally did sell something that was commercially successful I would find you guys and rectify my failed album. From the 70's onward I continued to write, believing that possibly, maybe, my time for making a few bucks would eventually come. Hence, if there is a God, you may, in the next year or so, find an unexpected check in your mail. (Please send me your mailing address in case . . . )

If you are interested in what is at the core of my optimism I would be happy to send you a copy of the screenplay (now adapted into a stage play) on which I pin my hopes. Also, I want to send Kary some dough for the drawing he did on the backside of the cover, so if you have any information on his whereabouts please let me know.

Anyway, until then, take care. Best wishes. David Creps.
